Katie Knoll

2013 Water Leaders Alum

Headshot katie knollKatie recently joined Denver Water as the stakeholder relations manager. Prior to accepting that position she served as the public involvement unit manager for the Colorado Division of Wildlife (now Colorado Parks and Wildlife) for 8 years. Throughout her career, Katie has been working and communicating with a variety of constituent groups ranging from leaders in education funding to environmentalists and sportsmen to landowners and local government officials. She is looking forward to seeing many familiar faces through her work with Denver Water but is also looking forward to meeting and working with many new faces in the water community. Katie has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wittenberg University in Ohio and a master’s degree in environmental policy from Bard College in New York. In her spare time she enjoys road biking and just last year completed her first RAGBRAI (Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa). She also loves to travel, internationally whenever possible, but if time and money are limited, any beach location will do.
