Jordan Dimick

2015 Water Leaders Alumni

Jordan is a Project Manager at Leonard Rice Engineers, Inc. with more than 10 years of experience in water resources planning, water allocation modeling, and water rights engineering.  Jordan is a Colorado native and has always been in awe of Colorado’s most precious resource – water.  However, Jordan’s passion for water supply planning was spawned by a trip to the Dominican Republic to talk with locals about the importance of uncontaminated drinking water and the availability of safe water within the barrios of Santa Domingo.  Shortly after that trip Jordan obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, went to work and further honed his expertise by obtaining a Master’s degree in Hydrology.  Jordan, his wife, and three sons spend as much time outdoors as possible by hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, camping, backpacking, hunting, fishing, and gardening.  Nearing the end of his recent hiatus from international travel, Jordan and his family are beginning to plan a trip to Latin America to help those in need of safe and sustainable water supplies.
