2017 Water Leaders Class
As the Assistant District Manager for Willows Water District in Centennial, Colorado, Josh has been developing and sustaining a culture of excellence for the last three years. He is passionate about protecting water quality through viable sustainability.
Josh started operating water and wastewater plants in 1991 for a local municipality and hasn’t looked back. Over the last 25 years he has managed all aspects of water resources, treatment, construction, and capital planning for local communities and Title 32 Special Districts. He is a nationally certified water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater operator.
In 2010, Josh started an environmental consulting firm called HYDROLYSIS, which specializes in project management of CIP projects. He also has extensive experience in membranes and UV treatment processes and operator training related to water.
Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is married with two teenage boys (yikes!). He is a Colorado native and is an avid backpacker, hiker, and fly fisherman. He has coached all levels of baseball and basketball for over 15 years.
