2017 Water Leaders Class
Logan graduated from CSU with a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering in 2007 and began her career at Leonard Rice Engineers following graduation. There, she focused on water rights, water supply planning, permitting, modeling, and conservation planning. In 2014, she made the move to the South Metro Water Supply Authority to continue her work in water resources. The regional and collaborative focus of the organization is a great passion of Logan’s, working through challenging projects and issues with a number of water utilities and professionals to bring people together in creative and mutually beneficial solutions. In addition to developing and leading a regional conservation subcommittee, managing a regional aaster plan update, and contributing to regional outreach efforts, Logan’s primary focus at SMWSA has been in the construction and implementation of the WISE project. This is a regional partnership between 10 of SMWSA’s members, Aurora Water, and Denver Water, providing a new renewable water supply to the south metro region.
Logan is a Colorado native and lives in Littleton with her husband, 1 year old son, dog, and chickens. As a typical Coloradan, she enjoys the great outdoors, traveling, frequenting local breweries, and playing with water!
