2017 Water Leaders Class
Heather currently serves as Water Resources Program Analyst for the Town of Castle Rock. Heather is responsible for coordinating the town’s water resources including the non-renewable groundwater supply and various renewable supplies. This includes the capital improvement management, water portfolio management, utility master plan support, long range utility planning, and supporting water resources facilities operations. Prior to joining the Castle Rock water resources team in 2014, Heather worked as a groundwater and water rights consultant for 17 years with Leonard Rice Engineers, Inc.
Heather earned a bachelor of science degree in Geology from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado. She is a licensed professional geologist in Arizona, Wyoming and Washington as well as a certified professional geologist through AIPG. Heather relocated to Castle Rock with her husband, David and her two children, Noah and Abbi. In addition, she is a certified swim official and enjoys spending time with her family.
