2017 Water Leaders Class
Chris Kurtz is a project manager and water resources engineer at CDM Smith in the Denver office where he serves as technical lead on state, regional, and municipal water resource plans. Chris specializes in water resources systems analysis and modeling as it relates to planning for municipal water, wastewater, reclaimed systems, agriculture users, and environmental and recreational needs. As a consulting engineer Chris enjoys combining his passion for problem solving and water stewardship to help solve his clients’ most pressing issues. Outside of work, Chris finds happiness spending time with his wife, Ann, and their goofy pup, Berta. When not enjoying the company of family and friends in and around Denver, Chris can be found standing in a river waving a fly rod, or at least planning when that next chance might come.
